I am a do-er. Give me a list of things to do and I will do everything on that list. Unfortunately with PND there is no quick fix but here are some of the things I have tried and am trying.
CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Gratitude Diary
Meditation - e.g. Yoga with Kate or BiBi Dallmann (Find both on Instagram)
Art - if you are creative or even if your not - draw, doodle, paint.
Exercise (I hate exercise but walking my dog helps me)
Go outside - even if you are sad get out in the fresh air
Distraction - don't get a take away, cook from scratch.
Things I have been told that I want to believe/hope are true:
The bond with my baby will come
It will get better
My GP - every mum I have met with PND has recovered
1 in 4 women suffer some level of PND
You are not alone (although I feel pretty alone)
